Joel Seath
Joel Seath is a playworker by heart. The man in the pub
says, ‘So what do you do?’ Play talk happens. Joel has been working with and
for children, in a variety of ways, for the best part of 22 years now: directly
in clubs and playschemes, at adventure playgrounds, festivals, play events,
summer camps, with pre-school children and with older children and young
people. He has been involved in assessing, quality assurance, and development
of new places to play. He has taught a fair amount and learned a fair amount
more.
Joel is currently a playworker, trainer, and assessor. His
playwork writing has been published or reproduced in online playwork
literature, and his playwork blog has developed a wide readership. Joel lives
in Hampshire, with love and hope for play.
Playworker at White City Play Project, London; playwork
trainer, assessor, writer.
